Prerequisite: you need an Openlayer account to follow this guide.

Openlayer uses API keys to authenticate requests made to the Openlayer backend. You need an API key to interact with the platform programmatically, via one of the SDKs, the CLI or REST API.

To create an API key, navigate to Settings > Personal API keys.

Click on “Create new API key” and give it a name.

Click “Create” to create and view your secret key.
