Openlayer offers two data regions: Your Openlayer account and sign-in session belong to one data region. They are not shared between regions, so selecting the wrong region means you do not see your account.

Choose a region

On the login and signup forms, Data region is the first field, above the authentication options.
  1. Select the full-width Data region field. Before you make a selection, it displays Select region.
  2. Choose United States (US data region) or European Union (EU data region).
  3. Continue logging in or signing up. If you choose a different region, Openlayer takes you to that region’s host so you can continue there.
After a successful login, Openlayer remembers the region you used and can send future visits to /login to that region. You can also go directly to eu.openlayer.com when you want to use the European Union region. Openlayer keeps you on the European Union host unless you explicitly choose United States.
During some OAuth continuation flows, the Data region field is not shown because the region is already fixed for that login.
